Senior Dietitian

We are hiring Senior Dietitian into a Private Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.
   Responsibilities Responsible for contributing to the organisation and provision of Nutrition and Dietetic Services, at out-patient, inpatient and day care level, in the hospital.
Liaise with medical, nursing and other clinical and non clinical staff regarding patients under her care, thus supporting and strengthening a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Keep accurate and adequate records as defined in the department policy and procedure guidelines.
Complete Dietetic statistics on a daily basis.
Liaise with catering staff in the provision of therapeutic diets.
Provide education on nutrition to hospital staff if requested to do so by the Head of Department.
Requirements Hold a B.Sc.
Human Nutrition and Dietetics, MSc Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, CORU registration, or an equivalent qualification approved by CORU.
Minimum 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience, particularly in gastroenterology, with a focus on managing IBS.
Desirable specialities include oncology and endocrinology, including diabetes (types 1 and 2).
PCOS is desirable.
Insulin resistance is favourable.
Weight Management/Obesity Out-patient experience and previous FODMAP training are vital.
