Our client is searching for a Senior Ecologist to join the expanding Ecology Team, who will have the chance to contribute to national recognised projects and studies. This client has a diverse project load, sourced from a wide range of private and public sectors clients.
The Senior Ecologist will lead teams in field data collection, prepare Biodiversity and Ornithology chapters for EIARs, EcIA reports, and AA/NIS/NIR reporting, design and implement ecological surveys, and analyze data to complete impact assessments.
Requirements:
Relevant primary degree in Ecology/Environmental Biology (additional qualifications preferred) 7-10 years of environmental consultancy experience Proven ecological field skills Experience drafting EIAR chapters, AA Screening, and NIS reports Familiarity with GIS systems (e.g., ArcGIS)CIEEM membership preferred Excellent report writing and communication skills Physically fit for fieldwork Full driving licence In return you will receive a competitive salary based on experience, social events, CPD and training opportunities, further education support, and a hybrid working model allowing for 2 days in the office and 3 days from home and more!
