Senior Electrical Engineer - Consultancy

Job DescriptionOur Client is a well established Multi Discipline Consulting Engineering Practice, delivering design, project management and construction supervision services to a range of International and domestic clients, primarily in the industrial sector and across a range of pharmaceutical, healthcare, process and food industry projects.
We currently have an opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects in the Pharmaceutical, Industrial and Commercial Sectors from initial concept through to detailed design and handoverPreparation, evaluation and optimization of design conceptsDevelop electrical building services designs/specifications from customer briefsConduct feasibility studies on new designs.Lead and/or participate in design and review meetings.Generate designs in accordance with current codes, guidelines and best practiceDevelop cost estimates and tender documentsDirect other members of the design team in undertaking their roles and responsibilitiesUndertake site inspections and prepare written reports on same.Generate production information and develop and manage full product design documentation.Resolving client related issues by problem solving and troubleshooting designs.Represent the company in a professional mannerCarry out your work in an efficient manner.Liaise with all project stakeholders in a professional mannerTo actively promote the Company's high standards of serviceTo maintain full knowledge of the Company's Health and Safety Statement and Risk assessments at all timesJob RequirementsLevel 7/8 with experienceGood knowledge of electrical building services designSome knowledge of AutoCAD and RevitGood knowledge of Design softwareHave a good knowledge of practical Building Services Engineering Design in the Industrial / Pharmaceutical EnvironmentBe motivated and capable of directing the work of more Junior staff Take responsibility for delivering good quality Engineering designsPackageSalary €55K - €65K depending on level of experience.Permanent Staff Role with great career development, support with CPD, city centre location with excellent public transport links.
