The role As a Senior Employer Solutions Manager, you will increase the reach and influence of the CIPD in building capability and creating learning cultures in organisations including national and multi-national enterprises. You will be responsible for business development and key account management, using your market knowledge and established network to increase the capability of HR and L&D teams and support the development of enhanced CIPD services for organisations.
What you'll be doing Developing new business opportunities, driving sales, creating pipeline and managing client accounts, including mid-sized to large multi-national and national clients, developing long-term sustainable relationships and revenue.Maintaining effective targeting and pipeline management processes, ensuring 'next steps selling' is applied to increase revenue and create sustainable accounts.Understanding potential clients' needs and challenges using a consultative selling approach, with the goal of matching CIPD's solutions to their business needs.Designing comprehensive business proposals with the help of CIPD's Subject Matter Experts (SME) that will lead to profitable solutions appropriate to clients' needs.Managing and developing new and existing accounts for sustainable long-term business relationships and revenue growth.Meeting agreed sales, revenue, gross margin, and customer relationship (including NPS) targets.Working closely with the Irish team and colleagues across the organisation to deliver the required outcomes.Engaging in a wide range of networking events to build relationships with HRDs and senior HR professionals across multiple organisations in Ireland.Contributing to the promotion and marketing of the Employer Solutions proposition including the creation of collateral (testimonies, case studies) and supporting colleagues to engage with the Employer Solutions proposition and the client stories that bring it to life.What you'll need to be successful Proven business development experience and proficiency in all aspects of the sales cycle, including qualifying accounts, generating, and nurturing leads and closing sales.Experience of business and customer relationship/account development at senior levels – able to forge strong, deep relationships with internal/external stakeholders and customers.Excellent organisation and planning skills plus a proven ability to take a lead on delivering projects.Background/experience in dealing with Human Resource challenges.Good verbal and written communication skills; with an eye for detail and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Decisive, action-centred, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Possess impact and presence, able to connect with people at all levels through outstanding interpersonal, communication and commercial skills.Experience of producing high-quality customer proposals and delivering presentations to clients.Experience of challenging colleagues in a collaborative manner, and proactively bringing issues, concerns and opportunities to the fore and working with colleagues to establish workable solutions.Strong conceptual and analytical ability to generate insights that can be applied to our sales and account management activities.Tech savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel) and experience in working with Salesforce or other CRM systems.If this role describes you and your career aspirations, then click APPLY.
