Senior Engineer - Functional Testing

Job Title: Senior Engineer - Functional Testing Career Level - D2 Introduction to Role: Are you ready to bring technology to impact patients and ultimately save lives? We are seeking a Functional Test Lead to join our IT team. In this role, you will develop strategies, plans, and other project-associated documents, liaise with project collaborators, and maintain resourcing needs for testing assignments. You will also craft test scenarios, test scripts, and execute tests when needed to support delivery.
Accountabilities:As a Functional Test Lead, you will be responsible for maintaining adequate test standards and correcting any anomalies/improvements observed while coordinating with peers/management. You will author test cases, support test case review meetings, and complete them as per project schedule. You will also participate actively in all project and organizational ceremonies and adhere to internal policies and norms to ensure compliance.
Essential Skills/Experience:9-10 years hands-on experience with Functional Testing ConceptsGood understanding of the Testing lifecycleHands-on experience in writing test scenarios and scriptsGood experience in leading Functional Testing projectsGood understanding of project artifacts like Strategy, Plan, Reports, etc.Good understanding of the defect lifecycle and triageAbility to frame basic SQL queriesExcellent analytical and logical thinkingExcellent interpersonal skillsDesirable Skills/Experience:Experience testing with tools is a plusExperience with Selenium is a plusBasic understanding of DB conceptsHands-on experience working in Agile projectsExperience in Life Sciences is a plusReady to make a difference?
