The Team: The Advanced Data Converter Platform Group (ADG) Team develops next-generation high-speed converter, transceiver, and digital signal processing platforms in deep-submicron processes for the most demanding mixed-signal applications.
Responsibilities: Designing high-performance analog integrated circuits in deep sub-micron CMOS/FINFET technologies. Provide technical guidance for layout teams. Collaborate with digital design, verification, system engineering, and software teams to ensure robustness of the design. Troubleshoot analog circuit issues. Support post-silicon validation. Requirements: 3-5 years of industry experience in Analog and mixed signal IC design with a Master's or PhD degree preferred. Solid knowledge of analog mixed-signal design with experience in high-speed circuit design. Good understanding of analog/mixed-signal circuit blocks including ADCs, DACs, PLLs, filters, bandgap, biasing circuits, LDO regulators, amplifiers, comparators, switched-cap circuits, and oscillators. Good understanding of IC layout techniques and practices. Hands-on experience in parasitic extraction and post layout verification. In-depth knowledge of analog mixed-signal concepts like Electromigration, mismatch analysis and mitigation, linearity, stability, Noise handling, etc. Design experience in advanced CMOS technologies and FinFET technology. Working knowledge of Circuit design EDA tools using Cadence Virtuoso suite, co-sim VerilogA modelling and verification techniques. Experience in lab testing of mixed-signal circuits and using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc. For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
