The Role:We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Consultant to join our client's team in Ireland. This position offers a hybrid working model, based in either in Meath or Galway, and involves managing projects of various scales and types in the areas of EPA licensing and auditing. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, assist clients in navigating complex regulatory requirements, ensure compliance with environmental legislation, and contribute to sustainable development across Ireland.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in environmental compliance, with a strong focus on EPA licensing and compliance auditing. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who is passionate about environmental sustainability and has a proven capability to effectively assist clients to meet their environmental and regulatory requirements.
Competencies:A third level qualification (Degree/Masters) in environmental science or related discipline.Experience working in the Irish environmental and planning legislative contexts with EPA Licensing and report writing / review.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.4+ years' relevant experience preferred.Excellent report writing and presentation skills.Highly motivated individual with strong attention to detail.Be self-motivated and solution driven.A full clean driving licence.The candidate must be able to demonstrate excellence in delivery in the following areas:Conducting EPA compliance audits and environmental assessments to evaluate operational adherence to licensing conditions.Managing client relationships by providing expert guidance on environmental regulatory matters, specifically in relation to EPA requirements.Expertise & personality to match our core values.Get on with our team, clients and suppliers based on respect.Personable – build a strong rapport with our clients, peers & authorities on-site & on-phone.Understand & value our clients' needs.Direct our clients through the job process in an efficient and timely manner.Commercial nous to see and deliver opportunities in the market and identify potential clients, team members & acquisition targets.Maintain credibility & integrity with clients, peers & authorities.Identify the key facts, core problems & potential solutions on each job.Create an excellent, clear, concise report that details the relevant facts & opinions.Finish a job with a satisfied client that believes we exceeded their expectations and delivered value for their money.Benefits:Competitive Salary.5% contributory pension after 6 months.Performance bonus – KPI criteria to be decided with candidate.Excellent leave policies.Regular access to an Environmental Director & Managing Director for mentoring, coaching & brainstorming.Support of experienced consultants.Potential to develop into a leadership role if they have desire and ability.
