Senior Environmental Scientist

Our client is an established multi-disciplinary engineering and environmental consultancy based in Ireland with multiple different offices across the country. Our client requires an Environmental Scientist to support the delivery of a broad range of projects. The position would suit a motivated, practical, and adaptable individual who has the ambition to work in a progressive and innovative Engineering and Environmental Consultancy.

Role:Undertaking environmental site surveys.Field data analysis.Preparation of environmental desk studies and due diligence reports.Screening, scoping and preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIAR).Preparation of EIA and AA Screening Reports.Drafting of chapters for EIAR.Background research to support the environment team.Requirements:A third level qualification (Degree/Masters) in environmental science or related discipline.Minimum of 10+ years relevant experience preferred.Familiarity with planning and environmental legislation and guidelines.Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex scientific data in a clear and concise manner.Excellent report writing and presentation skills.Use of GIS software.Be self-motivated and result driven.Deliver projects in an efficient and timely manner.A full clean drivers' licence.Benefits:Annual leave 22 days, increment of one extra day per every 5 years worked up to a maximum of 25 days.Annual Salary Review in June.Annual Bonus Scheme.Pension.Employee Death in Service & Disability Insurance Scheme.Paid Sick Leave.Paid Maternity and Paternity Leave.Hybrid Working.Flexitime.Paid Professional Membership Fees.CPD programme.Sports & Social Club.
