We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Extended Range Manager to join our Extended Range team. Extended Range is a digital-only range of 3rd party products and services that Musgrave offers to its customers alongside our core range. Our ambition is to create a true one-stop shopping experience for our customers, and we are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to help us bring this ambition to life.
Reporting to the Category Manager, the Senior Extended Range Manager will lead the new Extended Range categories and the relationships with associated suppliers, including the negotiation of commercial agreements. The role will also involve owning the execution of and driving the strategy on product, category management, seller acquisition, and growth plans.
The key responsibilities of the role are (not limited to): Lead, manage and mentor a team of 3 peopleDevelop and implement the strategic vision for Extended RangeWork closely with senior stakeholders to align on this vision and directionArticulate a clear proposition to both internal and external stakeholders - work closely with Marketing teams to raise awareness of Extended RangeA thorough understanding of the e-commerce industry and competitive environment including knowledge of competitive product offerings.Use data and insights to identify gaps and opportunities and using this build and implement strategies to increase the performance of Extended RangeManage relationships, negotiations, and business plans for all Extended Range suppliersManage revenue, margin and profitability of Extended RangeBuild strong relationships with customers and colleagues across all teamsExperience, Skills & Education The successful candidate will have/be: Passionate about e-Commerce within Retail, Wholesale, and FoodserviceExperience of building and delivering plans aligned to a strategyExperience working in a fast-moving and pressured environment and can manage projects on time and to budget/forecastStrong analytical and numerical capabilities and can plan and make recommendations based on data and insightExperience working with an online retailer and using online analyticsExperience in buying or trading positionsGood negotiator, able to satisfy varying needs in the face of conflicting demandsStrong planning and prioritizing skills to deliver plans to deadlineHigh level of customer focus and can work collaboratively with othersAbility to anticipate next steps and future risks and opportunities within your area, taking actions to address them in the absence of a given structureEffective communicator and can build trust to execute an agendaKnowledge of the Irish and UK industry a distinct advantageSound category management experience in the retail/wholesale trade.Musgrave operates a Work Smart hybrid working model where you can alternate your time between connecting and collaborating in the business and working remotely.
