WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS The Brennan & Co Group have been undergoing an exciting phase of growth and expansion over recent years. To help support and maintain this growth we are embarking on an exciting phase of expansion within our Service Department through the addition of a number of new services which complement and enhance our extensive existing portfolio. In order to support our new and existing services, we are seeking to add a Senior Field Service Engineer to our existing team of highly skilled service engineers.
This role is responsible for providing high quality installation, repair, modification, testing, calibration and preventative maintenance of equipment and software for Brennan & Co and its customers to help ensure that the highest levels of customer service are always maintained. Some of the Brennan & Co agencies primarily supported by this role include Getinge, Nuaire, Infors, Priorclave, Fluke, Yokogawa, Kambic, Omnicell and Invisible Systems.
The role will also involve supporting the efforts of the organization as it works towards INAB ISO17025 accreditation. This offers an exciting opportunity to be heavily involved in the INAB accreditation process from the beginning and gain a valuable level of experience from the ground up. This role will primarily cover the western and midwestern regions (Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Donegal, Clare, Limerick, Roscommon etc). Why Join Us? Act as a role model for best practice health and safety within the division.Provide technical product training and basic user functionality training to customer base.Complete all service reports and associated paperwork providing recommendations and insights.Undertake product and technical training as required and keep knowledge and skillset up to date.Other ad-hoc duties, projects and assignments as required.SKILLS/EXPERIENCE 3rd level or trade qualification in an engineering, instrumentation, electrical or electronic engineering discipline.Good technical problem solving, troubleshooting and follow-up skills.Excellent customer relationship management skills.Experience in working in an INAB ISO17025 accredited environment is advantageous.Enthusiastic self-starter with a service-oriented approach to all tasks and work activity.Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively in and outside the company.Ability to multi-task, skill in establishing priorities and managing workloads, including ability to work effectively under stress and time pressures.Must be able to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, schematic diagrams and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to travel to clients both in assigned area and nationally, sometimes on short notice including occasional overseas travel for training.Full driver's license.
