Senior Financial Accountant (Irish business)Here in Barden, we are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a well-established and hugely successful Irish business in their search for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their growing Finance team at their headquarters right here in Cork.
This role will report directly to the Financial Controller and the person will have a wide range of responsibilities and an opportunity to work with a team of over 20 experienced Finance professionals. Given some exciting growth in the business, you will get an opportunity to get involved in a wide range of finance projects and systems work.

ABOUT THE ROLE: Preparation of management accounts for the business on a monthly basis;Developing a thorough understanding of the business and industry to adequately assist with efficiency improvements;Management and guiding of a team of junior team members;Responsible for the review of journals and all related transactions to ensure accurate recording and reporting;Work closely with key senior stakeholders in the planning and performance of the business to support the continued growth;Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance and coaching to a number of finance professionals on the team;End-to-end accounting across various parts of the finance function;Ad-hoc projects and process improvements work.ABOUT THE PERSON: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA) with 2/3+ years PQE;Excellent analytical skills;Strong technical accounting ability;Hardworking, detailed oriented and results focused;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;Hi, we're Barden.
