DescriptionWe are recruiting for an external BDO client, located in Dundalk. Hybrid; 3 days on site, 2 days WFH.

Key ResponsibilitiesWhat you will do: Part of Global Finance Team responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts in US GAAP to tight reporting deadlines.Monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for all accounts in line with SOX Controls and group reconciliations procedures.Budgeting; Assist in the redesign of the budget process to support our evolving organization and partner with budget owners to help embed ownership of the budget.Manage the documentation, development and implementation of finance processes and controls across the various operating locations providing training and guidance where needed.Assist with Company Internal Audit (SOX Controls), External Audit requirements and Tax/VAT audits.Reduce manual accounting processes through increased automation and reliance on existing systems to drive scale as the business grows.Lead on the annual statutory audit for Ireland and Germany ensuring timely supply of information to the audit and tax teams.Liase with in-country fiscal representatives that manage the company VAT returns in over 22 countries.Guidance and training of Finance Administrative staff to set goals and objectives and address any training needs in line with the new company Performance Development program called GROW (Goals, Results, Opportunities and Workplan). Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseWhat we need from you: Qualified accountant: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent.Minimum of 3 years PQE.Excellent interpersonal, motivational and management skills.Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with particular emphasis on planning, working to tight deadlines.Ability to take direction and work independently.Proficient in Microsoft Office, intermediate to advanced Excel and Access skills essential.Experience of working with Oracle ERP System or other similar system.Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
