Senior Fund Accountant

Exciting opportunity for Fund Accountant in Private Equity! Our client, a fast-expanding global firm in private markets, is looking to hire a Senior Fund Accountant.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Review investor cash flow activities, including capital call and distribution notices.Track daily cash activity, set up wire payments, and prepare daily cash projections.Review workpapers and supporting documentation for the annual financial statement audit.Assist the tax department with the review of Fund and investor K-1s and various tax payments.Review management and performance fees.Assist in the review of quarterly unaudited and annual audited financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.Support the review of quarterly performance reporting.Review partner allocations and capital account statements.Assist the investment team during transaction closings by reviewing allocations, reporting requirements, and providing other necessary support.Coordinate with fund administrators to ensure timely reporting and compliance with partnership agreements.Correspond with Corporate Accounting/General Partners on accounting and reporting matters.Review distribution waterfalls and carried interest calculations.Respond promptly and professionally to investor inquiries.Perform additional duties as needed.Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting.2-4 years of experience in private equity partnership or real estate fund accounting.Experience with Real Estate accounting, Investment Company Accounting, and ASC 820 (FAS 157).CPA Preferred.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Capable of working independently.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.If you would like to learn more about the company and the role, apply now or reach out directly to ******.
