To support our growing workload, we are seeking a Geotechnical / Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join us in Dublin or Belfast.
You will have the opportunity to form part of Stantec's new ground engineering team in Ireland, supporting the delivery of a variety of projects as part of a major capital investment programme.
You will help shape our geotechnical engineering services, deliver technical outputs, and support the growth of our team. You will play a fundamental role within projects to identify innovative and sustainable solutions, plan technical delivery and deliver projects from concept stage through to final implementation.
You will prove technical expertise to ensure that projects are delivered to cost, schedule, technical and quality standards to meet both client and Stantec expectations.
About You You will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology or a related subject, and be a chartered member of a relevant institution such as the ICE or Geological Society.
You will have experience conducting ground investigations and site inspections, and preparing geotechnical desk studies, interpretive ground investigation reports, and geotechnical design reports. You will also have experience undertaking geotechnical analysis and design of structures.
You will be able to operate independently and collaborate with multi-discipline teams remotely across the UK&I.
