Position Overview: The Digital Business Unit is currently looking for a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer for digital design with a focus on FPGA. The candidate will work within a team of engineers to prototype ADI's latest ASICs on state-of-the-art FPGA platforms. Selected candidate will join Analog Devices at the Bangalore office.
In this role, you will be responsible for: Work within a team to implement a fully functional prototype starting with RTL designs provided by the design team using state-of-the-art FPGA platforms. Provide the prototype to other teams within ADI (software, evaluation, etc.), maintain the prototype for general usage and give support. Assist/drive debugging efforts. Where appropriate, collaborate with global cross-functional teams, including Design, Design Verification (DV), and Software teams. Requirements: Very good knowledge of digital logic design principles: Control, data-path and multi-domain clocking concepts. Knowledge of industry standard bus protocols such as AHB, AXI, I2C, SPI etc. is desirable. Good working knowledge on RTL coding and design debugging. Proficient with state-of-the-art FPGA implementation flow including synthesis, P&R and timing analysis on tools such as Synplify, Vivado, Quartus. Some expertise in the development and implementation of design constraints by interacting with designers and performing RTL analysis. Expertise in critical path timing closure and RTL simulation is highly desirable. Knowledge of ARM and/or RISC-V processor subsystem architectures is advantageous. Very good verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with international teams (Europe, US, Canada). Minimum Qualifications: BS/BE in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 3+ years of experience. Additional Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Good working knowledge on some programming language (C, C++, C# or similar) is desirable. Strong presentation and technical documentation skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with aggressive schedules. Self-motivated, thorough, autonomous, and driven to continually improve. #LI-CC1
