Job Description To meet the growing demand for our Health & Safety Consultancy services, we wish to recruit an experienced  Senior Health & Safety Consultant.
The Role As a Senior Health & Safety Consultant, you will: Provide Occupational Health & Safety consultancy services to MKO clients, including trusted and well informed H&S management advice Provide construction safety consultancy services, including fulfilling the role of PSDP on a wide range of both renewable energy projects and on "standard" construction projects.
Extend the breadth and reach of MKO Health & Safety Consultancy services Promote a safety culture throughout MKO.
This is an exciting role that will allow the successful candidate to further develop their Health & Safety Management skills and experience; and to develop their people management and leadership skills.
Key Requirements The ideal candidate will have a third level qualification in Safety and Health at Work, have completed a PSDP course, and have at least 6 years work experience in a health & safety role, with experience in: Fulfilling and coordinating the role of Project Supervisor for the Design Process (PSDP) Occupational Health and Safety Management for a workforce of over 50 staff.
Evaluating and approval of sub-contractor Risk Assessment and Method Statements Company Health & Safety reviews and audits Developing staff Health & Safety training plans Other desirable qualifications include:  IOSH Managing Safely Certification  QQI Level 6 Manual Handling Instructor Solas accredited Safepass trainer We offer flexible work arrangements that value our team members' well-being and work-life balance.
