DescriptionThe successful candidate will be required to start on 13th January 2025. Cork University Hospital Group is the largest statutory / HSE hospital in Ireland and the only Model 4 hospital in the state with all acute surgical and medical specialities integrated on the same campus.
CUH is a regional centre for secondary and tertiary care for the catchment area of HSE South, providing a number of supra-regional services in a range of specialities to the entire southern one third of Ireland.
At a national level, CUH is one of two designated Level 1 trauma centres in the country and offers various 24/7 services including neurosurgical and stroke thrombectomy, PPCI, and cardiothoracic surgery.
The Cork University Hospitals Group (CUHG) comprises 3 acute hospitals, with CUH being the primary teaching hospital for University College Cork, delivering numerous academic clinical placements and clinical research trials.
