Job Title: Senior HR Advisor - Overseas
Reports to: Head of HR Operations
Terms: Permanent, Full time, Hybrid (50% remote working) HO, Dublin Ireland
Salary: GBF7 (€70, 088 - €77, 875)
Requirements: Travel may be required to Concern's programme countries, likely 2 to 3 support visits per annum (6-9 weeks in total).

Role Purpose: The Senior HR Advisor is a key role within the People function, working closely with senior managers and line managers to contribute to the development and delivery of people initiatives that achieve shared organisational objectives.
The role will focus on people engagement, performance management, employee relations, talent management and development, and progressing workplace equality, diversity, and inclusion.
The Senior HR Advisor will support our management teams in our countries of operation and will lead a number of global strategic people initiatives.
Travel to our programme countries is required, likely 2 to 3 support visits per annum (6-9 weeks in total).
The Senior HR Advisor will play a key role in delivering the recently approved People Strategy for the organisation.
Responsibilities: Provide leadership and development of 3 HR Advisors through effective direction, delegation, coaching, and performance management.Contribute to the strategic direction of the People function within the organisation.Participate in and lead strategic projects, including the introduction of the Misconduct Disclosures Scheme.Lead the implementation and roll-out of Concern's Global Pay Banding Framework.Build trusting relationships with senior and line managers, providing strategic HR support and guidance.Promote positive employee relations and engagement in line with best practices.Handle day-to-day HR activities, including salary benchmarking and updating staff handbook.Manage and support complex individual queries or cases in a timely manner.Participate in investigations related to staff misconduct, ensuring compliance with employment legislation.Foster strong working relationships with the Safeguarding Unit and Internal Audit and Investigations Unit.Deputise for the Head of HR Operations as required.Provide on-call cover for the 24-hour emergency phone.Accept and pursue any new objectives or responsibilities assigned by the Head of HR Operations.Demonstrate leadership on workplace equality, diversity, and inclusion.All managers are responsible for upholding and promoting Concern's values and participating in emergency responses.Role Holder Requirements: A qualification in Human Resource management or equivalent professional experience.Extensive professional experience in employee relations, investigations, and/or employment law.Demonstrable professional experience in Human Resources in a mid to large-sized organisation with at least two years in a management role.Fluency in French.Experience working in the INGO sector is highly desirable.Ability to build strong working relationships at all levels.Experience in implementing processes across geographically distributed teams.Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.CIPD Member (desired).To apply: CVs should be submitted through our website at https://jobs.concern.net by the closing date.
