Senior Infrastructure Engineer – 100% On Azure!

Windows systems + 100% hosted on Azure New projects + problem-solving nature of the role Globally well-established insurance company This Senior Infrastructure Engineer is with a well-established massive insurance company which is currently ranked in the top 10 of profitable companies in the reinsurance industry. The recent few years have treated them well so they're currently expanding and looking for a strong Infrastructure Engineer to join them and work on exciting projects within their data-heavy system.

They're looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join them as a problem-solver while collaborating with a strong team in a Windows and Azure-hosted system. Their infrastructure is massive due to the amount of data flowing through their systems so the role would be quite a technological challenge.

Their tech stack consists of Python and SQL as well and you'd be working on their expansive customer-facing systems, as well as be an effective problem-solver for any problems that pop up on the way. Due to the company's well-structured setup, there are opportunities for you to jump between teams and, considering each team works with different technologies, there's a lot of scope to learn new skills as well!

The ideal candidate for this Senior Infrastructure Engineer position has more than 5 years of experience (preferably in financial or pension/insurance-focused institutions, but not mandatory), is strong in a Windows/SQL tech stack and loves challenges and solving problems, all while working in a supportive environment with a great tech-centric culture.

This is a hybrid role based in Dublin City Centre. The company's employees go to the office 3 days per week. The company offers flexible working hours. You will: Work on data-heavy backend systems Collaborate with a strong team Solve technical problems that arise on the way You have: 5+ years of experience in a financial or insurance institution Experience with Windows, SQL and C# Strong communication skills Salary / Remuneration Up to 85,000 (DOE) per annum + 12% bonus, 25-30 days of annual leaves, 12% pension, health insurance (for the candidate and dependents), life insurance and others.
