Role Title: Senior IT Auditor - Group Internal Audit Location/Office Policy: Molesworth Street, Dublin 2 hybrid working, with the option of working from regional locations in AIB's Regional Hubs (Cork/Galway & Waterford) What is the Role: Group Internal Audit currently consists of approximately 100 audit professionals operating in Ireland and the UK.
The function operates independently as the third line of defence to provide assurance to the Board Audit Committee on the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control environment.
The department promotes a dynamic work environment, staff empowerment and fully supports flexible working arrangements.
We are now seeking applications from ambitious professionals who are keen to pursue an opportunity as a Senior IT Auditor based in Dublin.

Key accountabilities; Lead, manage and execute audits from beginning to end including definition of audit scope, test strategy, execution of testing, summary of issues and final report Manage the resolution of agreed exceptions with the business areas and stakeholders within agreed timetables Review and interpret processed data to identify trends and investigate exceptional items Actively develop and maintain positive working relationships with management within the business to enhance the effectiveness and reputation of GIA Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of GIA's audit methodology standards, processes and AIB organisational structure.
There is also the opportunity to travel on an infrequent basis as part of this role to visit AIB/Third Party offices across Europe, Asia and America.
What you will Bring to the role; Minimum two years working in IT, preferably audit or risk management A relevant third level qualification Hold a professional IT audit qualification or have a willingness to undertake one.
Ability to work to deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
