Senior Kubernetes Container Engineer

Job title: Senior Kubernetes (K8s) Container Engineer.
We are seeking an experienced senior Kubernetes container engineer (+5 years) to join a Modern Engineering project as the Container lead.
Container Lead responsibilities will include: Provide thought/technical leadership towards the architectural designs of OpenShift based Kubernetes clusters and their associated server and network infrastructures.Ensure architectural designs meet non-functional requirements such as high availability and disaster recovery.Design and develop CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications.Provide technical guidance and supervision to members of the Modern Engineering Platform team, concerning the refactoring and migration of existing applications over to OpenShift containers.Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.Maintain and optimize container orchestration and deployment processes.Diagnose and resolve issues related to Kubernetes and containerized applications.Ensure clusters align to client security standards.Preferred Skillsets: 5+ years experience of operating Red Hat OpenShift clusters, including ACM, ACS, Quay.Proven experience with CI/CD tooling: Git, Helm, ArgoCD, Sonarqube, Azure DevOps Services, Podman, Skopeo, Clair, ZAProxy, HashiCorp Vault, Gatling, Nexus Repository.Experience with monitoring and logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and hybrid cloud solutions.Certifications - Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator or Kubernetes Certified Administrator.Essential Skillset: Red Hat OpenShiftContainerizationCustom Application DevelopmentService Mesh Architecture
