This role requires being a subject matter expert in your assigned area, being able to operate, trouble shoot and recommend appropriate maintenance of complex laboratory equipment for the necessary assigned tasks per area work instructions.

Sample management, arrangement and collaboration with external laboratories.
Collects data by using independent judgment to determine the most appropriate method of test/experiment and records output.
Accurately records data and pro-actively organizes & analyzes assess data for trends.
Performs and/or ensures the preventative review of laboratory equipment, machinery and procedures are followed.
Provides recommendations to engineers, scientists and technicians and has contact with others in the research, as well as with cross functional departments.
Trains other technicians and takes a leadership role within area or responsibility.
Assists with laboratory projects as well as provides input for procedures, and lab guidelines and the construction of special fixtures for testing purposes.Must have the ability to plan, organize and prioritize own workload.Must be able to work both independently and as a team member.
Must be detail oriented, analytical and possess the ability to determine reasonability of test results.Must have the ability to coordinate and supervise training activities for new hires as needed.
Must have demonstrated ability to persevere and follow-up with abnormal results or circumstances.
Must have demonstrated ability to operate complex instrumentation.Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills.Must be familiar with GMPs and GLPsYour Background Associates Degree in Medical Technology or related field required; B.S.
in Microbiology, Biology, Medical Technology or other related field preferred.Minimum of 3 years life science lab or environmental experience; medical device or industrial experience preferred.Travel Expectations>5%EOE/M/F/Vet/Disability
