Position Summary
As the Lead Process Design Engineer in the high-tech semiconductor industry, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and construction of state-of-the-art semiconductor fabrication facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and engineering of chemical and gas processes for greenfield and brownfield semiconductor projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in process safety, design, and engineering in the semiconductor industry. Your expertise in process design engineering will be crucial in ensuring the success and efficiency of semiconductor manufacturing facilities Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities shall include but not limited to:
Lead the process design and engineering for chemical and gas, purified water systems, wastes, bulk gases processes for greenfield and brownfield semiconductor projects. Ensure the process designs meet all safety and environmental requirements. Work closely with the project team to ensure the process design meets project specifications, budget, and schedule. Provide technical support to the project team during the construction, commissioning, and start-up phases. Ensure the process design is optimized for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Participate in process hazard analyses and implement solutions to mitigate risks. Develop and maintain project documentation, including process flow diagrams, P&IDs, equipment specifications, and operating procedures. Be responsible for the technical content and quality of all process design deliverables. Develop design risk assessments and mitigation strategies for process design systems. Manage and mentor a team engineers and designers. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Process/Chemical Engineering or related field. 10+ years of experience in process design and engineering in the semiconductor industry. Strong knowledge of chemical and gas, purified water systems, wastes, bulk gases processes, including process safety and environmental regulations. Experience with greenfield and brownfield projects. Knowledge of semiconductor process technology and equipment. Experience with EPCM projects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership and mentoring skills.. Other
