DescriptionYou will join a team of attorneys in the Products & Regulatory Legal Group who advise Apple's engineering, business and government affairs teams on complex regulatory issues. You will analyze the applicability of a broad range of regulations in the EMEIA region to various Apple products and services, including new legislative initiatives and proposed policies. You will coordinate, and in some cases drive, the engagement with regulatory authorities in various technology areas. The work requires outside-the-box thinking, versatility, and creative approaches to legal issues. You will collaborate with other legal groups, Apple government affairs and cross-functional business and engineering teams. You will also advise Apple management on risk allocation/mitigation, business strategies, and policies. Location can be discussed.
Minimum Qualifications5-8+ years of experience on regulatory matters, such as digital regulations, finance/payment regulations, media regulations, at major law firm, in-house or regulatory authority.Preferred QualificationsOutstanding communication skills with the ability to advise and build relationships with executive management, teammates, and cross-functional partners.Strong analytical skills and business sense with the ability to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.Ability to develop and facilitate collaboration by cultivating relationships and effectively counseling and communicating with legal and cross-functional partners.Self-starter who is curious, loves technology, and thrives in a dynamic environment.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of projects.At Apple, we're not all the same.
