The Senior Manager, Analytics Platforms & Processes will be responsible and accountable to the Head of Data for the provision of the platforms, infrastructure, tools and processes to support Data & Analytics across the enterprise.
This includes day to day operations as well as the delivery of a wide range of highly challenging objectives & projects, ensuring the Analytics Platforms and Processes for the Bank are resilient, effective and operating to the highest standard.
Your Team: You will report directly to the Head of Data within the Central Data Office function and you will be accountable for leading the Analytics Platforms & Processes teams.
You will work closely with the wider CDO management team, as well as business areas, IT, and other stakeholders.
Your team will play a key role in the drive to becoming a Data driven organisation, supporting Real Time Decisioning engines, and providing platforms to support Management Information, Modelling and meeting Regulatory Reporting Requirements.
This role will lead a combined team of c.20 data professionals as well as external partners, including supplier relationships.

In addition, the successful candidate will also Functional Strategy & Delivery Responsible for a variety of SAS 9.4 and VIYA platforms Lead necessary changes and developments in Credit Risk Analytics platforms Lead the development and execution of Next Generation Analytics Platforms Strategy / target Architecture and implementation Lead and be accountable for high quality analytics platforms and processes Lead the Production support operating model ensuring operationally resilient systems, processes, risk and controls.
Lead Change impact assessment and delivery, analysing and designing for changes requested, liaising with the various stakeholders (CDO, Change, Credit, Finance, relevant Fora/Committees).
Assess and address issues that might prevent the organisation from making maximum use of its data/information assets and Analytics platforms.
Provide expert advice and guidance to enable the organisation to meet its obligations Risk Management & Control Provide leadership on risk management at the organisational and business levels Prioritise the risk management and compliance agenda, and champion on-going improvements Lead the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) for the team, implementing effective risk and operational governance.
Ensure that all Risks, Compliance, Conduct, and Audit regulatory obligations and actions are managed Lead an inspiring Culture As a Senior Leader, embody and role model the Group's values and standards Develop/maintain a framework to bring a unified view across Analytics Platforms including Acquisitions, Collections, Reporting and Decision Systems.
Support the on-going development of the Team through robust performance management, mentoring, training and where necessary recruitment.
Support and contribute to the Bank's Technology Strategy.
Stakeholder Engagement Ability to communicate and negotiate successfully with stakeholders at a CxO level and build effective working relationships across the business.

Requirements: Essential ?
10+ years of relevant Data & Analytics Platforms experience with 3+ years at a management/leadership level.

Relevant 3rd Level qualification (Degree, Masters) in a related field (IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics) ?
Relevant experience with enterprise class Analytics platforms and running SAS 9.4 and SAS VIYA Platforms ?
Financial services experience, with a strong understanding of the current regulatory environment, in particular Regulatory related Risk ?
Demonstrable leadership and people management experience in a similar role ?
Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation) in both formal and informal settings.
