As the Senior Manager of Data Analytics, you will be responsible for leading the Business Intelligence function. You will manage a small growing team whilst working closely with the Data Science and Data Engineering teams to develop a new cutting-edge big-data analytic platform that will support advanced machine learning models to improve health outcomes for our members. Primary Responsibilities of the Senior Manager Data Analytics: Set strategy for and drive day-to-day execution of the Business Intelligence team. Collaborate with Data Science and Data Engineering teams to build end-to-end analytical solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to build new dashboards and analytics to improve and monitor business performance. Interact with internal customers to effectively design, implement, and operationalize dashboards that accurately capture business requirements. Work collaboratively with business partners, SMEs, BAs and Testers to ensure a shared understanding of business requirements. Develop the technical and professional skills of team members. Communicate with various functional areas and translate technical concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences, both verbally and in writing. Required Qualifications of the Senior Manager, Data Analytics: Proven experience leading a business intelligence development team. Strong experience with Data Visualization / Dashboard tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Excellent communication and presentation style. Experience with Agile methodology. Strong SQL experience, including experience with various database technologies (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft SqlSvr, DB2). Strong knowledge of relational databases, database structures and design, systems design, and data management. Experience with Cloud based tools (e.g. Snowflake). Experience with data blending tools (e.g. Alteryx). Demonstrated effective interpersonal, influence, collaboration and listening skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely in writing and orally to individuals and groups. Undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification. Individuals in this role must have European National status or be otherwise authorized to live and work in Ireland. Preferred Qualifications of the Senior Manager, Data Analytics: Knowledge of DevOps tools, including Rally & Git. Understanding of HIVE, SPARK, and components within Big data architecture. Exposure to Machine Learning models / projects. Healthcare / Pharmacy experience.
