Join us as our Senior Manager Property Facilities This role is a leadership position and reports to the Chief People Officer.
The role is responsible for management of a property estate comprised of office, contact centre and retail locations.
Proactively manage all aspects of facilities services, primarily through 3rd party suppliers.
Ensure all activity is in compliance with Environment, Health and Safety legislation and company policy requirements, operated consistently and driven by a need for continuous improvement.
What else it involves Manage all leasehold interests and sublets arrangements, ensuring strong relationships with landlords and tenants.
Divest any properties no longer required.
Responsible for ensuring that 3rd party provider proactively maintains all hard services across multiple locations and reactively responds to any issues within agreed SLA'S Responsible for ensuring that 3rd party provider proactively manages all soft services across multiple locations, in accordance with business needs.
Responsible for leading and continuously improving EHS management systems to control risk.
Ensuring appropriate policies and procedures are in place and adhered to across the business.
Development of Capital Expenditure budgets in line with business requirements and needs.
Tightly manage Capex and Opex budgets, ensuring good value received for all spend and accurate reporting is available Initiate projects to establish, improve or cease processes, systems and procedures impacting all aspects of the employee or building life-cycle.
Ensure all projects delivered on-time, in line with the business cycle.
Work collaboratively in the identification of priorities and development of appropriate plans to enable business success.
Build, develop and maintain effective, co-operative relationships with internal and external stakeholders who are instrumental in achieving property related objectives.
Lead a small team, providing direction, focus and motivation on the key business needs across their deliverables.
Demonstrate leadership behaviours, act as a visible role model, living the brand values and setting high standards through own behaviour and actions driving a highly engaged workforce.
The skills required for this role.
Demonstrated senior experience managing landlord and tenant relationships and ensuring the smooth running of a varied property estate.
Strong working knowledge of facilities management, demonstrating expertise and ability to ensure consistent performance of all facilities related services.
Ideally, this should be supported by a practical exposure to effective EHS management.
Strong working knowledge of ISO standards such as ISO14001 an advantage.
Proven leadership and team working skills with the ability to develop and motivate in a fast paced, rapidly changing and high-performance culture.
Ability and passion to drive operational excellence.
