This is what you will do: The senior Master Data Administrator & Steward is responsible for defining the operations data information model standards and maintaining info model data of the highest integrity to support the business. They will assist the data manager in the development and deployment of data governance and analytics to ensure use of data as a strategic asset.
You will be responsible for: Define the data assets & standards within the Operations data domainApprove data change requests within the data domainAssist in the development of data quality KPI's for their data domainProvide data stewardship as a service to the relevant operations functionsBuild strong cross-organizational relationships by partnering with business and technology stakeholders to facilitate data governance and link data management practices to achieve business valueChampion the value of data and collaborate with Alexion Operations teams to support understanding of available data, build data capabilities, and implement data initiativesAssist the data manager in the creation of the data roadmap and work with Technology business partners to maximize the use of data lake to facilitate decision-making, KPI tracking and reporting across the organizationIdentify and act upon opportunities to drive analyses and master data insights across OperationsSupporting ad hoc requests for analysis and reporting and other duties as assignedEstablish common vocabulary and develop data training/data literacy programs to drive a data culture across the organizationDirect continuous improvement of data management practices to ensure that data resources are integrated and coordinated across systems to support decision-makingMentoring & training of full time & part time (local) data administratorsYou will need to have: 5+ Years experience in master data management (MDM) processes in an Operations/Supply ChainPharma or biotech sector experience is an advantagePassion for cross-functional transformationStrong understanding of ERP & SCM systemsExcellent understanding of data administration, (open) data architecture and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution etc.) and industry best practicesAbility to decipher and organize large amounts of data and drive insights that enable better decisionsExcellent organization and communication skills (including translation of technical concepts)Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly, and tight deadlines existAbility to influence, build strong relationships with business partners at all levels throughout the organizationAbility to embed a culture of harmonization, process improvement and value creation across the business functionsStrong team management and motivation skillsWe would prefer for you to have: Experience in SAP ECC6 or S4/HanaExperience of data management in SAP MDG or equivalent platformExperience in Planning systems (e.g. OMP)
