Job DescriptionSenior Manager, Impact Engineering, Dublin Team: ServiceNow's Impact Engineering team creates applications to help customers, and our Customer Success Delivery teams quickly maximize the value of their ServiceNow investment.
What you get to do in this role: You will manage the engineering development and delivery of a high-growth, leading-edge product and framework for ServiceNow Impact. Impact provides AI-driven recommendations and ServiceNow expertise helping customers validate the readiness of their organization to adopt our AI innovations quickly, map investments to business objectives, and track the value gained. You will work with engineering leadership and product management to shape the digital roadmap to accelerate ServiceNow's value to our customers.
Working with PM, Quality, Design, Support and other dev teams, you will manage daily activities of the development team, including:
Delivery of committed work, with measured qualityTechnical engagement on architectureCareer growth for development team at multiple levelsStrong leadership to make engineering team successfulSolve difficult and sometimes ambiguous problems, balancing platform and product level decisionsManage departmental resources, staffing, mentoringInvest in enhancing and maintaining operational excellence with your engineering teamQualificationsTo be successful in this role you have: 10+ years of experience with platform and product development, using coding and architecture skills to deliver high-quality results at an enterprise scaleMinimum 3+ years of people management experience for an enterprise software companyExperience managing and growing high-performing engineers who require little oversight in completing assigned workExperience leading and supporting the team to deliver their engineering tasksExperience with open-source tools and agile development environmentsFluency in one or more relevant enterprise programming languages (preferably Java, Javascript)Demonstrated ability to understand broad concepts and use those concepts to understand and develop solutions for problemsExperience completing projects based on company priorities, context, risks and desired outcomesAbility to understand and implement ServiceNow coding standards and best practicesNot sure if you meet every qualification?
