Purpose of the role: As a Subject Matter Expert ("SME") in Supplier Performance and Risk Management ("SPRM"), this person is Flutter's global owner of its SPRM Framework. As such they are responsible for the ongoing implementation, development and maintenance of this Framework as a best-in-class approach for managing relationships with Suppliers. On a global basis, they will ensure that the SPRM Framework is effectively implemented to help Flutter obtain optimum benefit from its relationships with TP'Ss, while holistically managing our exposure to all forms of supplier risk, throughout the supplier life cycle.
Key Responsibilities: Lead: Review and maintain the Flutter Group Global SPRM Policy (at least annually)Develop the Policy to keep pace with desirable best practices to ensure that Flutter remains best-in-classLead the design, rollout and implementation of any global SPRM deliverables and change initiatives (people, processes and tools/systems)Implement and manage SPRM Governance framework, including the relevant SPRM reporting (Committee, KRIs and supplier risk heatmaps and other reporting metrics, etc.)Lead and manage SPRM team reporting to roleEstablish strong relationships with global cross-functional, cross-brand stakeholders in developing and implementing SPRM FrameworkSupport other key stakeholders to align to and meet the Global SPRM PolicyMonitor and recommend the approach to manage emerging / horizon SPRM risks with input from key stakeholdersServe as an SME on Supplier, including relevant regulatory requirements, industry trends, and best practices. Maintain relationships with industry peers and regulatory bodies.Support: SPRM subject matter support for GroupSupport Flutter Group and Division businesses manage supplier risk as per the PolicySupport Functional, Risk and Compliance teams to meet and deliver the PolicySupport Procurement Services Director as requiredOversee: Monitor Global Compliance with SPRM Policy.General: Training of SPRM analysts and other Flutter users in effective following of SPRM processes, providing training materials where necessaryAssist in identifying and implementing appropriate technology for SPRM activity (e.g. Supplier Onboarding and Collaboration tools). Engage with SPRM stakeholders in and beyond Procurement team to understand and address their SPRM systems needs.Developing resources to be used by participants in ongoing SPRM. Examples include templates for BR invitations, agendas, presentations, minutes, SLA's, assessments, surveysEnsuring appropriate follow-up actions taken in response to SPRM activity outcomes (e.g. remedies, supplier meetings)Respond to relevant internal and external audits, exams and requests for information. Assist in the evaluation of audit and examination findings, provison of responses and implementation of corrective actions.Dotted line management of resources who may support the SPRM process.Support the Director Procurement Services, as required, on any broader Procurement Services initiatives.Ideal candidiate should have following experience/skills/attributes: Extensive knowledge of SPRM strategy, processes, best practice, systems and innovations and experience designing, implementing and managing same.Experience in effectively leading teams5+ years experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environmentsStrong customer service and stakeholder management skills, maintaining awareness of customer needsAbility to establish strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders in developing and implementing improvementsAbility to communicate with senior management in a self-confident and professional mannerAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, flexible and innovative environmentStrong problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skillsEnthusiastic, self-driven and with a high level of self-motivation to overcome obstaclesSeeks feedback on processes and systems to gather perspectives and ideas for improvements3rd level education (e.g., degree and/or similar professional qualification such as from CIPS)Qualifications relating to Risk Management would be a distinct advantageInterest in sport and gaming and experience working in these sectors would be an advantageExperience working in a global role would be a distinct advantageAbility to present a positive and professional face of team and Flutter at all times
