JOB TITLE: Global Supply Network Planning Senior Manager DEPARTMENT: Global Supply Chain.
J&J MedTech, DePuy Synthes, Cork, Ireland REPORTS TO: Global Supply Network Planning Lead Job Description: The Manager will lead network planning activities for the Joints Reconstruction & Powertools portfolio across a global network of manufacturing facilities, Distribution and Market nodes to meet franchise service level targets, global inventory, and agility objectives.
This individual will be accountable to drive service, inventory and agility performance between the Manufacturing Plants and the Market Nodes collaborating closely with the J & J Distribution Network in United States, EMEA, ASPAC and LATAM.
Main Duties/Responsibilities: Contributes to the Supply Network Planning team by managing other Managers, Supervisors, and/or individual contributors in a matrix environment, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management and meaningful career development conversations.
Collaborates with multiple departments on internal supply chain strategies and supports organizational objectives and business goals.
Manages Supply Network Planning initiatives, timelines, approvals, and plans.
Directs activities for strategic initiatives and serves as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
This includes but is not limited to: * Manages other Managers, Supervisors, and/or individual contributors in a matrix environment, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management and meaningful career development conversations.
* Communicates direction for Supply Network Planning processes to Managers, Supervisors, and individual contributors, and ensures methods align with organizational goals and objectives.
* Delivers forecasts, production plans, and inventory plans weekly based on demand, output, and planned customer service level changes.
* Supports optimizing supply chain inventory in-house and with distributors to ensure product availability.
* Evaluates key supply metrics and shares feedback for continuous advancement on maturity of the Supply Network Planning capabilities.
* Responsible for managing operational aspects of their team (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within established timelines and budgets.
* Integrates Johnson & Johnson's Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.
* Lead Supply Network Planning Distribution Requirements Planning, International Services Group, Instruments Deployment Group, End to End Short Term Exception Management and Returns and Repack of Inventory * S&OP, Distribution capacity planning, scheduling, inventory management, new product launch management, customer service, control tower leadership and collaboration with Logistic Carriers and Lane Managers.

* The Manager utilizes Lean & Six Sigma tools to drive continuous improvement of supply chain processes and leads the supply chain in meeting inventory targets.
* They will continue to develop a talent pipeline within the SNP team at all levels.
* They will ensure that Master Data within SNP scope is governed and actioned where applicable including continuous improvement processes.
* Lead and shape NPI launches at the appropriate stage gates across the Joints platform and drive collaboration cross-functionally.
* The Manager will determine key performance metrics and drive improvement in supplier performance across Order fulfilment, Deployment attainment, Inventory management, Supply Chain agility and responsiveness.
* They will also develop and execute a supply chain planning strategy that will continue to advance the agility, scope, and efficiency of the Planning Network.
* The Manager will lead and develop a team which liaises between Manufacturing, Demand Planning and Distribution which may include external manufacturing.
* The Manager will bring to the position an understanding of contemporary best practice in supply chain/planning management with an ability to coach and develop others.
The ability to work in a complex matrix manner across J&J and worldwide network of external partners is a key requirement.
