Senior Manufacturing Engineer - 12 Month Contract

Our client, multinational medical device company is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Galway on a 12 month fixed term contract. Responsibilities: Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling.Plan machine arrangements within plant facilities to ensure an efficient and productive layout.Establish sequences of operations and procedures for tool and equipment fabrication, influencing product performance.Adapt machine or equipment design to align with factory and production conditions.Incorporate inspection and testing requirements into production plans, as needed.Inspect machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency, initiating corrective actions to ensure product quality.Develop manufacturing processes suitable for statistical process control and may establish these techniques.Provide guidance to engineering on design concepts and specifications to maximize equipment and manufacturing techniques.Ensure compliance with regulations across processes and procedures.Requirements: Level 8 degree in a relevant field.Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience within medical devices.For a confidential discussion and more information on the role, please contact Amy Newell.
