Leading the execution of continuous improvement projects and initiatives on manufacturing equipment, demonstrating a data-driven approach.Supporting the manufacturing process and developing expertise on equipment and interactions with the process, being a key contributor to the resolution of persistent complex technical problems.Preparing equipment performance reports by collecting, analysing and summarising information and trends, in support of process improvement.Managing multiple deadlines and determining work priorities, the majority of which is to be done autonomously.Actively promoting and participating in cross-functional teamwork as an influential team member.About Your Skills & Experience For this role, we're looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
The ideal candidate will be a Mechanical/Manufacturing/Engineering graduate with 5 years of experience in a high speed, highly automated drug, or medical device fill/assembly/packaging operation or within another highly regulated industry.Proficient and experienced in driving projects and continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing with knowledge and competencies in quality, validation and maintenance systems.A motivated and flexible person who can formulate detailed plans with minimum supervisory influence and manage them through to completion.Highly developed problem-solving ability with good analytical skills and sound judgment to respond to potentially complicated or novel situations.Demonstrated experience in design and execution of technical reports in support of manufacturing process improvement, deviations and problem solving.Demonstrated strong communication and team-working skills, including the ability to work effectively and influence decisions across functions, communicating effectively through verbal and written means.A track record of developing efficient, innovative and creative solutions to complex and challenging engineering problems, using established tools and frameworks; Lean/Six Sigma certification would be advantageous.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.Benefits at Viatris Excellent career progression opportunitiesWork-life balance initiativesBonus schemeHealth insurancePensionDiversity & Inclusion at Viatris At Viatris, diversity and inclusion are essential to our mission.
