Senior Marketing Executive Grade 5 Hybrid (Post 1674) Position is Full time 35 hours per week and Permanent Irish Blood Transfusion Service, National Blood Centre, Jamess St., Dublin 8 The IBTS is currently recruiting for its marketing department.
The Senior Marketing Executive Grade V role is a varied and challenging opportunity to coordinate a small but extremely busy marketing team, developing and implementing vital campaigns and initiatives.
Whether its ensuring existing donors continue to give blood, or attracting potential new donors, IBTS Marketings workload is never dull, always varied and incredibly rewarding.
The works includes both digital and traditional marketing campaigns at national and local levels.
Working closely with and reporting to the Head of Marketing and Donor Services, this position is a crucial role in the support and development of donor recruitment and retention to ensure the national blood supply.
Essential Criteria: You must possess a relevant, recognised third level Marketing qualification.
At least 5 years Marketing experience including significant experience leading, developing and implementing marketing activities and tactics including digital and social media marketing, email marketing, content development, and traditional offline marketing initiatives.
Experience converting digital leads to regular and repeat customers/donors e.g.
digital marketing retargeting, customer journey management Good working knowledge of Marketing software tools e.g.
Adobe, Canva, Social Media Scheduling and reporting , Email software, CMS, Team management and coordination experience Experience working closely with creative and media buying agencies Event Management experience Experience reporting on Marketing effectiveness and actions to address challenges Have an expertise in Marketing trends and forward planning Demonstrated ability to think strategically, and translate your vision in to a clear plan of action to achieve desired results.
Creativity in the development of concepts and campaigns and possess excellent presentation skills.
Be proactive and self-motivated and determined to achieve the marketing goals for donor recruitment and retention.
Demonstrated ability to work on your own initiative, with a high level of organisational skills in order to manage multiple priorities at once.
Show Attention to detail and results orientated with the ability to work to deadlines.
Good Communicator - Have well developed interpersonal, analytical and communications skills Driving License & access to car Desirable Criteria: Experience marketing and communicating to donors (not for profit sector).
The salary scale attached to the post is the Grade V scale €50,202 to €60,052 (incl.
LSI) pro rata per annum.
Entry point onto the salary scale is dependent upon relevant experience.
