We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dublin – people who revel in the opportunity to work on challenging, high-profile projects in our stimulating, inter-disciplinary design studio. You will have a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of challenging projects in all sectors including workplace, healthcare, education, historic, leisure and residential.
Our Dublin based engineers are known throughout the industry for innovation in sustainable design. They have produced many exemplar buildings that have introduced new, award-winning engineering concepts to the industry and enhanced the standard of design both in Ireland and internationally. Several of our projects offer research opportunities to develop new approaches to the creation of exemplar environments with buildings while reducing or eliminating carbon emissions. When working with the Dublin team, you will have the opportunity to develop your career by working with some of the most creative engineers in the industry and to apply your talents to the design of new exemplars that make a real difference to the industry.
We are currently working on a number of net zero carbon buildings that offer opportunities to deliver exciting new responses to the climate challenge.
About you Degree qualified, in a relevant engineering disciplineFull Member of CIBSE or equivalentIdeally a Chartered Engineer or with a desire to achieve chartership.Possess excellent communication skills and capable of transmitting your passion for building services engineering to clients, other professions and the teamHave a broad experience of the industry, detailed knowledge of the design of building services systems and a keen interest in passive design techniques, sustainable environmental solutions and renewable energy technologiesCapable of offering informed and intelligent comment on issues related to the creation of sustainable buildingsKnowledgeable and experienced in using, or interpreting the results from front end design tools such as IESExperienced in working within a Revit environment and a desire to develop these skillsSkills in AutoCAD and Revit will be beneficial.Successfully designed and delivered a number of significant projects across a range of scales and sectorsResults driven, enjoy challenging opportunities, have a positive attitude and are resourceful. You will have a high degree of integrity, professional ethics, respect and sense of responsibilityHave an interest in innovation.
