Job DescriptionOur client is one of Ireland's leading Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants design & build Contractors.You will work on a wide scope of Water and Wastewater Treatment projects across the Island of Ireland.As part of this role you will form an integral part of the design and project delivery team with particular focus on coordination of design activities ,providing technical oversight and direction to our design engineers and approval of detailed design including mechanical equipment selection, hydraulic systems and engineering drawings.Developing design solutions to technical problems, involving equipment selection and specifications, hydraulic design, plant layouts, P&IDs etcLeading the relationship with our clients from initial concept, feasibility, detailed design, implementation to final deliveryMentoring and coaching of design teams to establish the best value working design solutions to technical problemsCoordinating members of the design team to ensure the timely delivery of information and reviewing the work of other members of staff and providing assistance to their continued learning and developmentUtilising our design templates and software to complete calculations and supporting the equipment selection processEnsuring that all Design Documentation is in line with the requirements of the Project Quality Plan and project specific requirementsAc as a subject matter expert on technical issues throughout the projectsRequirementsLevel 7/8/9 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentAt least 7 years experience in a similar roleExperience in the Water IndustryPrevious experience in people managementAbility to work on own initiative and effectively manage & coordinate designPractical site experience (Desirable)Experience working with hydraulic design templates and softwareExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPackageSalary Negotiable based experience,Excellent benefits package
