We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a dynamic team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of mechanical systems for complex Pharmaceutical and Data Centre projects. This role requires close collaboration with clients to understand their needs and ensure that all designs meet both client specifications and industry standards. Additionally, the candidate will mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects on time.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, particularly within pharmaceutical and data centre projects. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Revit is essential, as is a strong understanding of HVAC, piping, and cleanroom systems. Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements is also necessary. Exceptional client relation skills are a must, with a proven ability to manage client relationships effectively, ensuring satisfaction and promptly addressing concerns. Furthermore, the candidate should demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities, strong leadership and project management skills, and possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
