You will be joining a niche practice area within KPMG, with a team of 50 people and growing.

Here is what you can initially expect: As a Senior Cost Manager working within the wider team, you will lead and deliver in all aspects of cost management and quantity surveying from project inception to completion.You will work with an Associate or Director to successfully manage and deliver a number of projects, typically ranging in value from €5m - €500m+.You will drive performance standards through expert communication and effective use of the performance management process. Maintain and develop good relationships with clients, take every opportunity to uphold and increase the profile of the firm as a provider of professional, premium quality services to the construction industry.You will also be responsible for managing and mentoring junior staff to deliver our Cost Management service efficiently and effectively.Duties Include: Feasibility estimatesProcurement adviceEnsuring deliverables are produced to high standards and issued on timeCost planning and Cash-flow forecastingValue and risk managementPost contract managementFee generationSupporting and developing team membersSupports senior staff in ways to make projects more efficient. Seeks ways to improve accuracy and efficiency of tasks.Client engagement / Maintain client relationshipsWhat You'll Need To Succeed Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Quantity Surveying / Cost ManagementProfessionally Qualified – ideally Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS, CIOB or other equivalent institutionAbility to read and interpret MEP Drawings, Specifications & SchematicsUnderstanding of the general MEP Market & Supply ChainUnderstanding a variety of project types/ Data Centres, Life Sciences, Energy & ManufacturingUnderstanding of RIAI and GCCC standard forms of contractExperience of preparing bid submissions.Prior line-management experience or mentoringProven ability to advise clients and design teams on procurement, cost, value and risk, not just cost in isolation.Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skillsApply If you are interested in the above role, please submit a CV via the apply button.
