Senior National Account Manager Here at Osborne, we are hiring for an experienced Senior National Account Managerfor a well-known company in Tipperary, to lead and manage key retail accounts in the Irish and UK markets, with a focus on maximizing sales and achieving budget goals for their product portfolio. The ideal candidate will work closely with various departments to drive success and ensure seamless operations. Location:Clonmel, Co. Tipperary Reports to:Commercial Manager Key Responsibilities: Account Management: Take ownership of sales budgets for designated retail accounts, managing large accounts. Strategic Collaboration: Actively contribute to the Commercial team, working closely with NPD, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Customer Care. Sales Execution: Implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue and margin targets in target markets. Forecasting & Analysis: Provide accurate forecasts for product demand and assess business potential. Customer Insights & Market Opportunities: Collect and analyze customer data to identify new sales opportunities and market needs. Account Planning: Develop and maintain efficient account planning and reporting processes. Financial Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team to manage DSO, credit limits, and overdue payments. Skills, Qualifications, and Experience: Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in a similar role, with experience managing large accounts, especially within the Retail Sector and FMCG. Prior experience within private label and co-pack models, is also essential. Education: A third-level qualification is desirable, but extensive experience in sales of private label FMCG goods is required. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of product development, packaging, lead times, and the process of bringing products from concept to shelf. Technical & Commercial Acumen: Strong numerical skills, IT proficiency, and technical knowledge to collaborate across departments. Communication & Leadership: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to lead and inspire a team of two. Personal Attributes: Highly motivated, organized, resilient, and capable of working under pressure. The candidate should be approachable, customer-oriented, and adaptable. Additional Experience: Hands-on experience in NPD, quality, and packaging is a significant advantage. Background in the food or drinks industry is preferred. Benefits: Salary: €60,000 - €67,000 per year + KPI bonus DOE. Pension available upon completion of probation. 20 days annual leave per year. Company phone and laptop provided. Mileage reimbursement offered. Hybrid Working: One day per week remote work. Working Hours: 08:30 - 17:30.
