Senior Network Administrator Salary: €60,000 per annum Contract: 20 months Job Purpose Working as part of the Information & Technology Unit, the successful candidate will be the lead member of the IT Infrastructure Team providing support and management of IT infrastructure. This support includes E-mail and communications tools, servers, networks, and security. The role will involve the management of technologies such as Microsoft 365, MS Teams, Active Directory, Microsoft System Centre, Windows Servers, Microsoft Hyper-V, SANs, Fortinet firewalls, iOS devices, Microsoft Azure, and other cloud solutions.
Key Tasks Management and Administration of:Microsoft Active Directory on Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019 network;Administration of Teams and Cloud PSTN;Microsoft 365 environment including Exchange and SharePoint;Antivirus deployment and updates;Veeam backups and restores;AD Administrative groups and user access rights;Management and support of Global and Core network infrastructure;Configuration and Management of Physical and Hyper-V servers;Ensure network and IP connectivity of all workstations, application servers, and back-end office infrastructure;Identify and remedy network performance bottlenecks to ensure the stable operation and efficient performance of company networks in all offices;Application of security updates and patches to client devices and servers;Monitor Network security;Management of IT risks & issues, incident resolution, disaster recovery planning, and testing;Proactively investigate and adopt new technologies where required;Provide 3rd level support to other colleagues in the Infrastructure, Helpdesk, and development teams;Responsible for documentation regarding network IT infrastructure and operating procedures;Responsibility for IT procurement and tendering.Key Competencies Communications and Personal EffectivenessKnowledge – with an emphasis on possessing strong IT skillsCreativity and InnovationNegotiation and InfluencingClient Focused Relationship BuildingNetworkingAdditional Requirements: A third level IT related qualification to minimum Degree standard with 5 years' experience in a network administration role is essential;Knowledge of SCCM, DPM, Defender, PRTG, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Hyper-V is essential;Network management and analysis tools experience - SNMP, WireShark, PRTG, LanGuardian is required;Good understanding of Network VLANs at Firewall, Switch & Hyper-V level;Good understanding of TCP/IP addressing and subnetting;Experience in the deployment, management, and administration of a complex hybrid on-premise/cloud-based IT environment;Strong communication and interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.Ability to work well under pressure and on own initiative ensuring attention to detail;Aspects of this role will require travel and working outside of normal office hours;An up-to-date current driving licence is desired;To demonstrate flexibility in undertaking additional tasks as may be assigned;To deliver key tasks by ensuring dignity, respect, equality, and work-life balance in the workplace.Send a current CV to ****** #LI-AF1
