Position Description ESB are seeking to hire a passionate and enthusiastic Senior Operational Excellence Coach to join a growing team within ESB. If you have a passion for finding better ways to work – this role is for you.
In ESB we are committed to operational excellence (OE) - so much so we have a dedicated OE team who work across our business. Using lean principles, we find real solutions to help teams work better. In addition, we develop Lean capability through our Lean Academy. The award-winning Lean academy delivers LCS accredited training courses that have qualified over 400 ESB employees.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Lean minded individual to grow their experience and work within a collaborative team to deliver positive outcomes for ESB while offering strong personal development and career growth.
Key Responsibilities Manage the delivery of improvement projects; scoping, designing, and delivering improvement projects based on the agreed outcome.Managing stakeholder engagement to successfully deliver agreed project outcomes.Reporting and tracking of in-progress projects to Line Manager and Business Manager(s).Build experience with a range of operational excellence methodologies and tools.Proactively identify opportunities within OE Team for improvement.Advocate and foster a culture of Continuous Improvement within ESB and the teams we work with.Delivery of Lean Academy (LCS accreditation): Support the delivery of a roadmap of lean training events, including delivering training modules, evolving the course materials to meet the needs of our students and coaching students to the successful completion of their improvement projects.Experience and Qualifications Highly self-motivated, and strong relationship builder.A collaborative team player.An innovative thinker with a focus on great customer solutions.A fast learner, detail-oriented, decisive, and enjoys a fast-paced work environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.A 3rd level qualification in a relevant field.Experience of Lean Six Sigma or equivalent Lean Business Training.Location This position will be based in Fitzwilliam 27.

The successful candidate may work flexibly within their jurisdiction with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration on at least one anchor day per week. All smart working arrangements are subject to manager approval and ongoing review, based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the individual.
