Senior Hotel Operations Manager Location: Dublin, Ireland Salary: €65,000 - €70,000 plus bonus Red D are recruiting a Senior Hotel Operations Manager for one of Dublins leading hotels. About the Role: This role offers an opportunity to lead the operational excellence of a prominent Dublin hotel, known for its exceptional service and efficient operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities across all areas of the hotel, ensuring financial targets are met and the highest standards of service are maintained. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: Support the Deputy GM in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel. Oversee the daily operations of all departments, ensuring high standards and adequate staffing. Motivate and manage Heads of Departments to achieve optimal performance. Financial Targets: Collaborate with colleagues to meet targets related to Revenue, Payroll, GP percentages, and other financial objectives. Work with the Bar and Restaurant Managers to boost sales and ensure smooth operations in Food & Beverage outlets. Compliance and Standards: Optimize service procedures to meet audit standards in Fire, Health & Safety. Prepare for and monitor brand audit visits. Oversee the implementation and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all areas. Team Leadership and Development: Ensure Duty Managers, Assistant Managers, and Supervisors are well-trained and efficient in their roles. Support and coach the management team in collaboration with the Deputy GM. Assist the HR team in achieving group training compliance targets and maintaining a motivated team. Health & Safety: Promote and enforce health and safety protocols throughout the hotel. Participate actively in the Health & Safety Committee and attend monthly meetings. Conduct ongoing Health & Safety training for all employees. Guest Relations: Handle and follow up on all guest complaints in a timely and professional manner. Ensure all staff are trained in complaint handling, and escalate issues to Deputy/General Manager when necessary. Flexibility and Adaptability: Be flexible and cooperative in assisting with various hotel operations as needed. Provide support across different departments to ensure smooth hotel operations. Qualifications: Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. In-depth knowledge of hotel operations and standards. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
