Senior Planner / Planning Manager

AA Euro Group have been retained to hire a Senior Planner / Planning Manager for a large data centre project in West Dublin, for the main contractor.

The Role: Manage and regularly update the Project Construction Programme. Develop short-term, area, and trade-specific programmes. Integrate procurement and information schedules within the overall Project Construction Programme. Prepare detailed weekly progress reports for the Contracts Manager and Client. Manage and refine progress monitoring techniques. Load manpower and costs into the Project Construction Programme. Monitor and report on Earned Value, including producing progress S-Curves for internal and external reporting. Integrate subcontractor and supplier schedules into the overall Project Construction Programme. Monitor and report on subcontractor design, approvals, off-site production, etc. Manage and update the Design Programme in collaboration with the Design Manager. Attend Client progress meetings, Subcontractor/Supplier progress meetings, and Lean Planner / Pull Programming sessions. Track original vs. actual schedules and prepare as-built programmes. Ensure consistency in project planning and facilitate accurate programme execution. Requirements: 3rd level qualification in Construction or related field. 7+ years of planning experience on large-scale construction projects. Proficient in Primavera P6 software. Strong experience with Asta Powerproject and MS Project. Highly computer literate, especially with MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.
). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Previous experience in a data centre project is an advantage but not required.
