Senior Practice Qualified Accountant

My client, a recognised firm of chartered accountants in the heart of Kilkenny, is looking for a Senior Practice Qualified Accountant to join Permanently their team.
The job offers hybrid working & flexible working hours.
You will be involved in: Management accounts, VAT and advising and supporting clients in improving their processes and implementing new software.
Manage and outline staff workflows and turnaround times on a daily basis Manage Client deadlines including CRO & Revenue and build these deadlines into the Staff daily workflows Monitor staff monthly fee targets and arrange weekly meetings with each team to discuss same Coordinate all new clients set up and schedule new client assignments into staff workflows Manage a small portfolio of high end clients Coordinate all Audit assignments and make sure comply with Audit requirements Prepare Monthly Reports on each team's performance for discussion with the Directors Coordinate and monitor training programmes, CPD and professional exams for all staff.
Centralise AML and engagement letters for all clients Oversee and support new project role outs Liaise with their HR advisors for all HR matters and monitor and agree staff holidays etc.

Coordinate recruitment requirements In order to be successful you will have: * A minimum of 2 years of experience in a multi-client/accountancy practice environment * Good working knowledge of cloud based accounting software such as Surf, Sage and Quickbooks * Organised, detail minded with strong communication skills * AAT qualification, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent would be an advantage In return, my client offers: * Salary dependent on experience, background and qualifications - negotiable.
