Senior Product Owner

Team Oomnitza is looking for an experienced and driven Senior Product Owner to work with our Engineering team to help design, develop and lead the next generation of SaaS enterprise software. You will enjoy working across a collaborative, dynamic team and have a strong sense of accountability.
We are looking for someone that is passionate about understanding our customer's needs enabling us to deliver real customer solutions and a positive end-user experience.

Responsibilities:Working with our existing and potential customers, including various stakeholders, help create and communicate the product vision so that the engineering team clearly understands the expected outcome by the user.Identify core problems that customers need solved, clearly articulating and documenting their requirements.Work with multiple Agile Development teams, to break down requirements into the form of user stories and acceptance criteria and ensure internal alignment of features.Work closely with the Product Manager to understand, formulate and document business requirements, investigating and analyzing system functionality.Maintain a prioritized, ready-to-work backlog with an appropriate mix of new features, feature enhancements, and bug fixes to ensure teams have an adequate amount of groomed backlog items to work on.Attend and participate in scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.Set delivery timing expectations and provide periodic updates.Collect internal and external pain points, source solutions, and then wireframe, iterate, deliver, and measure success.Collaborate with development teams, Customer Success and the customer if required, to replicate, understand, and prioritize resolution of customer issues.Act as a central reference and information source, providing guidance and assistance in the system product and functionality decision making process. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field.5+ years previous experience as a software product owner in an agile environment.Solid past work experience with SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) platforms and R&D.Technically minded individual with experience working with API integrations.We believe that a great SaaS Product Owner is a clarifier, not a confuser. You need to be able to take complexity and distill out what really matters.Strong knowledge in the practical application of agile/scrum software development methodologies.Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into requirements.Detail-oriented planner with ability to manage workload, capacity and prioritization with a structured approach.A highly collaborative team-player willing to do work outside of the job description to get things done.Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with Engineering, UI/UX, Product Management, leadership, and internal/external stakeholders.Coach and mentor team members.
