Specialist support to ESB Networks on Transmission LinesOverhead Line Clearances Calculations to ESB and third-party developments and infrastructureProject management and design of capital transmission overhead line alteration and maintenance projectsWe are looking for a Senior Professional Engineer to join us on our journey to a Brighter Future.
Key Responsibilities Project management of Overhead Lines transmission capital projects.Project Supervisor Design Stage (PSDP) with responsibility for the preparation & review of design risk assessments and project H&S plans.Production and verification of OHL designs.Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team and key project stakeholders.Stakeholder management including developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships within and outside of ESB.Experience and Qualifications Working as part of this dynamic team, you will always have new challenges and new problems to solve – working together is key. You will have the autonomy to choose how best to tackle tasks and solve problems with the support of your colleagues.
Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experienceKnowledge of relevant policies and procedures, Design Standards including Health, Safety & Environmental Standards and Legislation, and Electrical Safety RulesExcellent interpersonal skills and report writing skillsExcellent Project Management and Stakeholder Management SkillsFull Driving Licence and access to a carUse, Application, and Development of Geographical Information SystemsProject Management and Stakeholder ExperienceExperience in T&D, Generation, or equivalent power utility consultancy.Qualifications 3rd level qualification or equivalent work experienceLocation Your base will be at one of our offices situated at One Dublin Airport Central, Portlaoise, or Eastgate Cork.
