Job DescriptionOur client is a leading multi-disciplinary Consulting Engineering Practice with offices throughout Ireland and the UK.You will join the Roads, Bridges and Marine sector, which is responsible for a wide range of bridge, road and marine, projects throughout Ireland.Aid in the Project Management and coordination of teamIdentify and manage project risk and develop solutions, where necessary.Prepare tender submission proposals, client management, and business development.Guide and mentor junior team members.Successful management of the client relationship, managing communications, scope change and client expectations.RequirementsMaster's degree in civil engineering Chartered with a relevant professional body.6 years plus, post graduate experience working in a design conusltancy on the design and supervision of bridge rehabilitation, replacement projects, and of roads or other civil works.Excellent knowledge of current government forms of contract documentation is essential.Current experience of leading, managing and running, Civil engineering designprojectsStrong technical ability in all aspects of your field of engineering.Excellent knowledge and experience of current EN Standards.Experience of client and contractor interaction and engagement.Proactive, a good communicator with the ability to lead others in a multi-disciplinaryproject team.Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy.Strong interpersonal skills, and good written and oral communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.Full driver's licencePackageCompetitive salary - 55-75kFriendly, flexible working environmentCompany Pension SchemeActive Sports and Social ClubProtection of life and long-term illness coverCPD Programme with support and mentoringPaid professional membership fees.
