Senior Project Engineer

Our client is looking to hire a Senior Project Engineer on an initial 12-month contract. Responsibilities: Always pursue new opportunities, thinking critically about manufacturing and supply problems to identify continuous improvement opportunities.Actively participate in product development and released product management, including sustaining operations projects, process design & development, product lifecycle management, and post-market quality and regulatory requirements.Take initiative & lead a team to solve problems or execute processes and systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, execute, and deliver on project requirements.Execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.Identify and carry out practical actions to solve technical problems using your skills in project management, lean sigma, and process development.Lead and support the process development, characterization, and validation activities for changes to commercial products.Document and present all learnings to project and functional teams.Ensure effective stakeholder management and establish governance processes for communication and escalation.Key Skills & Experience: Third Level 8 Degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.Good understanding of product and process design.Ability to collaborate effectively within a talented team and work proactively on cross-functional teams.Demonstrated problem-solving ability and experience with lean/six sigma tools.Proficient oral and written communication skills with the ability to develop warm cross-functional relationships.Good organizational, presentation, and project management skills.
