Senior Quantity Surveyor - Modular Construction

Job DescriptionOur client is a fast track modular construction contractor specialising in the healthcare, education, industry, construction and leisure industries in the UK & Irish markets.They are seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work as part of the Senior Management team Reporting to the Commercial Director the Senior QS will be responsible for all aspects of costs , including tendering, reporting, sub-contracts etc.You will be responsible for a team of 3 to 4 people and the tasks for this team include the following:Tender SubmissionsClaims ManagementSub- Contractor ManagementMaterial take offs Negotiating with suppliers on large ticket items.Monthly CVR reporting.Live Costs reporting.Measuring of civil works completed on site.VariationsRequirementsProfessional qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar4+ years' experience working in the construction sector in a similar roleLiaise with the Commercial Manager and oversee a team of 3-4 direct reportsExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation skillsAbility to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goalsPackageCompetitive salary package based on experience and negotiable for the right candidateClear career path to senior management / directorship position
