Senior Radiographer

Senior Radiographer required for permanent position, Galway.
Located in a modern state of the art equipped radiology department, this is an excellent opportunity to work with Ireland's leading independent hospital groups in Galway.
As a Senior Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing high quality, patient-focused general radiography, imaging, and specialised radiography - CT/MRI, fluoroscopy, and theatre.
Responsibilities:Take the lead in the provision of radiography services, rotating through all areas of radiology, whilst working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the provision of an integrated patient-centred service.Participate in on-call service as required.Lead in the establishment and maintenance of standards for quality improvement and ensure adherence to existing standards and policies.Contribute to the planning and development of the service and participate in service improvements.The Candidate:Hold a recognised qualification as a Radiographer with CORU registration or be eligible for same.A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in a broad range of examinations (General radiology and CT are a basic requirement).Demonstrate experience of working with a team of Radiographers.Have proven ability to take initiative and work under pressure.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Evidence of continuing professional development.Have a high capacity for responsibility and individual initiative.Flexibility in role and take on additional duties as required.For further information and a job description, please email your CV to ****** or call Brian on +353 87 222 6752.
